About the Owner

Hey! I am Renika Zackery, owner/operator of Glam Styles Hair Salon by Renika and Glam Tresses by Renika! I am a wife, a mother of three beautiful daughters, and the middle sibling of two older sisters and two younger brothers. From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to be a hairstylist. As I matured, my passion for hair and everything GLAM, including make-up, grew larger than ever. To turn those dreams into a reality, I graduated hair school and became the only African American Stylist at Jordan’s Salon. My experience at this salon was nothing short of amazing. I learned how to be a well rounded stylist that could offer services to anyone no matter the person’s race, gender, or hair texture. I worked and learned there for eleven years until God told me that it was my time and my turn. I obediently followed God’s voice and direction by opening Glam Styles Hair Salon by Renika in 2014. I have been blessed to be both popular and successful in owning my own salon. I am able to do this by offering professionalism, elegance, and modern trends and techniques. I take the time to personally listen to each and every guests concerns, so I can customize and satisfy every desire possible. Accomplishing these goals have not only earned me a spotlight in BLACK HAIR Magazine, but also respect from local and social communities.
As my hair techniques and specialties became evident, it was time to take my brand to the next level. After much research and three years of sampling from a number of different manufacturers around the world, I decided that it would be in the best interest of my clients and Glam Styles that I start my very own hair extension line. Discovering extensions that had the perfect combination of quality and life span led to the birth of GLAM TRESSES BY RENIKA!!
I have a huge desire to reach every one of my goals and make my mark in this large hair and beauty industry. I look forward to sharing each and every one of them with anyone who is on this journey with me as a hairstylist and business owner!!
